SOLAR! - Uses a 12V Battery, and comes with a solar panel. Maximize the ife of the battery by adjusting the solar panel to the sun's position about the horizon.
REQUIRED - Requires a grounding system. nadequate grounding is the most common failure in an electric fence system. You will need a minimum of 3' of ground rod for every 1.0 joule of energy released. You will also NEED a Voltmeter Fence Tester to mea-sure voltage and a 12V Sealed Lead Acid Battery.
